I’m at fault for my car accident – do I have a claim of any kind?
In British Columbia fault for an accident is a key question that determines what you are entitled to. If you’re at fault for an accident you still have a claim for Accident Benefits (sometimes called Part 7 benefits). The Accident Benefits you may be entitled to include income replacement and medical benefits.

If you’re going to make a claim for Accident Benefits, you need to complete and file an Accident Benefits Application in a timely manner. There’s a time limit for this application. If you fail to file it with ICBC on time, you could lose out on income replacement and medical benefits.
