Taking care of number one: why you need to do your homework when it comes to income loss

A car accident can continue to hurt long after the collision has occurred. Often it takes time for you to recover from your injuries, both physical and mental; time that may require a leave of absence from your job.

Now, the wage loss component of your ICBC claim is designed to compensate you for that. However it’s not going to be served up to you on a plate. Too many people rely on their employers to keep track of the income they’ve lost through injury when in fact it’s your responsibility to keep track of the cost of your absence.

So do your homework and take care of number one. To find out how click on the video or give us a call here in the office. We’re here to help.
