Let me get this straight.

You get on your bike with a bunch of others who are "flapping in the breeze" just like you.

And you ride.

I guess that's what World Naked Bike Ride is all about.

Just "lettin' it all hang out".

But consider this.

Suppose that you're participating in Vancouver's edition of World Naked Bike Ride when you're hit by a car and hurt.

And suppose that the part of your body which gets injured is one that would normally be covered by clothing.

Would the fact that you were naked at the time of your bike accident affect your compensation claim??

It just might.

You see, ICBC may have an argument that you failed to take proper precautions to protect yourself from injury.

And if they can prove exactly that the compensation you're able to obtain may be discounted as a result.

Because if you get hurt in a bike accident the question you'll be facing....no matter what the circumstances of your accident is a simple one.

Did you take all reasonable steps to protect yourself from injury???

Injured in a bike accident?

I'd be happy to chat with you.
