There's no such things as a clear cut claim
The words ‘clear cut’ might sound like a good thing when it comes to your ICBC claim.
You don’t have to bother with a lawyer. It’s an easy ride. Just call ICBC and they’ll cut you a cheque.
Or will they?
I’m here to tell you that rarely is an ICBC injury claim very ‘clear cut’.
Because usually a case that someone describes as ‘clear cut’ is a case that hasn’t been prepared to the extent that the injured person is fully compensated.
You see, everyone’s different.
We’re all individuals with different lives, different jobs and different interests. That means we’re all going to be affected differently by the injuries we sustain in an accident.
A construction worker might not be able to work. A mom might have trouble looking after her kids. And a cyclist might not be able to ride as far.
No two people are exactly the same and that means no two cases are precisely the same either.
Sure people may be involved in similar accidents, or suffered similar injuries. But your case is about more than that.
It’s about you.
That’s why for me there’s no such thing as a ‘clear cut’ case.
Your case is personal and above all unique. Your ICBC claim is the story of how you’ve been impacted by your accident, not about someone else’s experience.
Here’s the thing, if you’re going to get the compensation you deserve you’re going to need someone to tell your story.
To get across how your life has been affected by your injuries.
At McComb Witten we don’t believe in ‘clear cut’ cases.
You see your case is about your life, your family, your work, and your interests.
Because really, that’s what makes your ICBC injury claim yours.
Here’s the thing, if something seems too good to be true it usually is.
If you’re going to get what you deserve for your injuries it might take more time and effort than you’re expecting.
But what are you really after? A quick buck or fair compensation?
Tell me your story.
