" Mr. Jones, was your headrest properly adjusted for your height?"

If you hurt your neck and file a lawsuit seeking compensation for your injuries you'll get asked this question.

Guaranteed!

Why?

Headrests are a standard piece of safety equipment in any late model vehicle.

They're designed to help reduce the extension of the head during the first phase of any rear-end collision.

The idea here is that if properly used a headrest should reduce the likelyhood of a neck injury being suffered if you're involved in a crash.

But.

A headrest will only function properly if it's properly positioned for its user.

Want to chat about how the position of your headrest might affect your injury claim?
