So you were injured in a car accident.

You're stiff, sore and have a headache.

And you want to find out, " ...should  I go to work or not?"

Here's the thing.

What you're asking is really a medical question.

Which needs to be answered by a medical doctor ( i.e. your family doctor).

So, what you need to do is to get in to see your doctor and:

> describe your injuries in as much detail as possible;

> explain how your injuries have impacted/effected you so far;

> make sure that is clear on on what exactly it is you do for work ( all forms of work);

> ensure that you describe the details of your job duties with particular emphasis on the physical aspects ( i.e. lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, standing, walking etc., etc.);

> get clear feedback as to whether/not you should be working;

To take it a step further, if you doctor tells you to take time off work, make sure you know exactly when you should return to your doctor to revisit this specific issue.

The bottom line is simple - any time off work that you're going to be looking ICBC to compensate you for for needs to have medical support.

Does your ICBC injury claim have a wageloss aspect to it?

Are you curious about what you need to do to ensure your income loss claim is supportable?
