" A high profile Liberal senator apoligized to his colleagues Tuesday afternoon, saying he fell asleep at the wheel seconds before crashing his car on Parliment Hill" - the Province Newspaper Dec 4/13 edition.

Senator Romero Delaire is a former army general who has served his country in a host of different capacities.

He's what you might call a "standup guy".

And Senator Delaire wrapped his BMW around a light pole just outside the Parliment buildings.

The bottomline is Senator Delaire should never have been behind the wheel.

What can we learn for this embarassing episode?

Driver fatigue causes car accidents - injuries and death.

And often driver fatigue is a something that goes unexamined when it comes to evaluating who's responsible for a multi-vehicle car accident.

Let me ask you this - did ICBC as the other driver involved in your accident how many hours sleep they'd had prior to your car accident??

If not, why not? It's a key question.

The answer to which might be very important when determining who's responsible for your car accident and injuries.

Have you been involved in a car accident where DRIVER FATIGUE may be an issue?

Call me - we need to chat.
