So the BC Teachers Strike is finally behind us. And the kids are back in school.

That means once again, BC's drivers need to pay extra attention when driving through a school zone.

Because the location where a pedestrian accident takes place matters.

More specifically,  the fact that a pedestrian accident involving a child took place in a school zone is a factor when determing the issue of who was responsible for the accident.

Or, to put it another way, the courts in British Columbia have found that a school zone is an area where drivers need to keep a look out for children who might be crossing the road ( during school hours).

Where you or your child struck while crossing the road in a school zone?

If so, give me a call at 604-255-9018 or drop me a line at [email protected]

I'd be glad to discuss some of the factors you should be aware of when it comes to the handling of your injury claim.
