Human beings are like fine china. They're delicate.

So when a person gets hit by a car they often get badly injured or worse yet killed.

A little while ago the City of Vancouver lauched an educational program designed to decrease the number of pedestrians who get injured or killed on the streets of Vancouver.

The program is called "People are Fragile". And it's a program which I whole heartedly endorse.

I've helped many pedestrains who've been badly injured in car accidents over the years. And of all the different types of car accident that I see pedestrain accidents are the worst.

You see, it's not just the physical problems that a person who gets hit by a car suffers from. Often it's the all encompassing  fear that takes over their lives following a pedestrian accident that's the bigger problem.
