David Parke

In June 2010 David Parke was riding his mountain bike along a bike path on Fromme Mountain.
And fell headfirst off his bike down a three-metre drop.
At the hospital we was diagnosed with a fractured neck at C7 and a hyperextended spinal cord.
Doctors told David that his bike accident had rendered him an incomplete quadiplegic.
Four years and many hours of torterous rehabilitation later David Parke is about to embark on a cross-province bike ride to raise fund for Spinal Cord Injury BC (SCIBC).
David will be hitting the road in Whitehorse on June 7th and plans to arrive in Vancouver within 45 days.
His goal is to raise $50,000 in an effort to "give back" to Spinal Cord Injury BC.
Please join us at McComb Witten in wishing David Parke the best of luck with his journey.
