McComb Witten is proud to be a sponsor for the BC Brain Injury Association (BCBIA) 2013 Cocktail Fundraiser Gala.

The BCBIA organizes this event annually to raise funds for resources and support for people living with brain injuries.

This year the Gala will take place on Thursday, November 14, 2013 from 6pm to 9pm at Vistas 360, The Renaissance Harbourside Hotel.

Why is this event so important? Because:

  •  families need and want immediate access to reliable and trustworthy information on services and resources
  •  survivors, their families and caregivers want the opportunity to ask questions and to network with others who are having similar life experiences
  • professionals want to be able to refer families and individuals to a resource that is always available, trustworthy, up to date and reliable
  •  brain injury is an ever emerging and important social and cultural issue

This year’s Gala is packed with fun and entertaining guest speakers; Michel McDermott and Kyle Donaldson of Breakfast Television, and a keynote address by David Roche, Inspirational Humorist.

Woolysock Souljazz is also back by popular demand!  This evolving group of well-seasoned improvisational musicians and vocalists will play music that is often called – jazz. Really it’s just themes and variations based on pop tunes from the 50s up to today, played with a lot of heart and soul.
