ICBC has recently taken to the airwaves, unleashing a series of tv ads.

These ads attempt to portray ICBC as " being in your corner".

"I can get the benefits I'm entitled to".

" I can settle when I'm ready".

So let me ask you this.

What's the reason for this advertising onslaught?

Is ICBC attempting to reduce the number of people who hire lawyers to represent them after being injured in a car crash?

Does ICBC think that an advertising blitz will get injured people to trust them. And as a result make injured individuals easier to deal with when it comes to settling their injury claim?

Could it be that ICBC wants to get inside the heads of people who might one day sit on a jury which is determing a personal injury case in court?

ICBC's advertising campaign raises more questions than answers.
