"The conventional view serves to protect us from the painful job of thinking."  - John Kenneth Galbraith

ICBC injury claims are like anything else in life. Sometimes the situation is very straightforward. And sometimes a creative approach is required.

So, let me ask you, is the ability to think creatively a skill that a personal injury lawyer requires ?

Well, that depends on the result you're seeking.

Applying a conventional  perspective to a case that is "less than straightforward" or involves " a novel situation" will probably provide a more predictable result. But is that the result you want ?

Sometimes in order to achieve the best possible outcome a personal injury lawyer need to take a novel approach. Do something that hasn't been done previously. Applying a line of thinking that isn't "tried and true." The outcome may not be as predictable. But then again, it all depends what you want.
