Distracted Driving - Has Anything Changed ?
" People aren't seeing what they need to see to drive" - Peter Kissinger , President & CEO of AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety.

But any safety benefits flowing from this new technology appear to have been offset by the plethora of dashboard technology that newer vehicles offer their operatosr.
Dashboard technology available on newer vehicles now includes: television, movies, text on voice command and e-mail on command.
To take it a step further, research indicates that the voice activated systems pose a significant problem when it comes to interfering with a drivers concentration.
So is there any light at the end of the tunnel ?

Follow the money.
The problem of distracted driving isn't going any time soon.
