Ayrton Senna was the last driver to be killed in a Formula One race. He died in 1994, while driving in the San Marino Grand Prix. Ok. Formula One drivers are extreme risk takers. People crash and people die. It comes with the territory. But what makes Ayton's death so tragic was that it was entirely preventable. Here's the thing. Ayrton's ace in the whole. His special ability. His consumate skill. Was what go him in the end. So what was it? I'll let the cat of out the bag. It was his finely honed ability to drive extremely fast IN the RAIN. Now if you're a pedestrain in Vancouver, you'd better be on the look out for all the Ayton Senna's that zip around the streets of our beautiful city. You see, there are 3 things that don't mix. RAIN. SPEEDING VEHICLES. and PEDESTRIANS. Were you struck by a vehicle while crossing the road? Interested in discussing the inner workings of a pedestrian case? Call me at 604-255-9018 or fire off an email to [email protected] Lets chat. Jeff Witten
