Won't exercise just make your injuries hurt more ? Isn't resting your body the best strategy ?

But, as always, it's a matter of degree.
A person who isn't active prior to their car accident can't be expected to jump right into an exercise program.
And the type of person who was physically active before their accident is more likely to be receptive to participating in an "Active Exercise Program".
The key to an "Active Exercise Program" is to ensure that the program is designed to meet the unique needs of the injured person.
The one size fits all approach doesn't work when it comes to this type of rehabilitation.
