Different types of accidents involve different types of questions.

So, if you've been involved in an accident with a large  truck ( eighteen wheeler, big rig, etc.) you need to know what's important.

3 KEY FACTORS TO LOOK AT ARE:

> Driver Fatigue - Truck drivers often work very long hours. Many get paid on a per delivery basis, as opposed to by the hour. So sometimes a truck driver will push the limits of exhaustion to get to his/her destination. Driver fatigue has been show to impair judgement, impair reaction time and have a number of other consequences which negatively impact a driver's ability to safely operate a large truck.

> Vehicle Maintenance -  Large trucks are often on the road for extended periods of time and log alot more miles than your average vehicle. As such big truck need more frequent maintenance to remain safe. Lack of proper maintenance can lead to an inability on the part of a truck driver to avoid and accident.

> Hiring - Did the driver of the truck involved in your accident have the proper training and experience to operate it? It's the responsibility of the owner of the large truck to ensure that it's driver is able to operate that truck safely. Lack of proper training and experience,on the part of a large truck driver, could have caused your accident.

Not all types of accidents are the same.

Accidents involved large trucks are special, they involve unique factors and need to be properly investigated.
